Performing The Music of Deep Purple

24 CARAT PURPLE comprises of a bunch of seasoned professionals who, having given up on the idea of being invited to join the great band, decided to get together and form as authentic a tribute as possible!

After all, it takes some doing to encapsulate the music of a band who have been going for forty years and worked through nine different line ups!

24CP heavily feature the classic mk2 line up, quite faithfully reproducing the excellent 'Made in Japan' album as well as other songs from that line up. Of course they do do other line ups songs too!

An illustrious gigging career has seen 24CP play the Harley Davidson Owners Convention, prime rock venue Metalworks and the presitigous Elgiva Theatre and Mick Jagger Centre

Not only has the band built up a loyal following but also garnered the praise of original Deep Purple bassist Nick Simper, who they were privileged to guest with in Nov 2008
